Introduces the processes, techniques and strategies of communication in a healthcare environment. Provides an understanding of correct language usage, appropriate presentation and public speaking techniques in addition to providing opportunities to practice legal and ethical documentation skills. Introduces technologies relevant to healthcare communication and covers strategies for dealing with healthcare conflicts.
