Accreditation and Compliance
HCT holds institutional licensure to operate as a higher education institution in the country from the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the Ministry of Education (MOE) of the United Arab Emirates.
Moreover, HCT has received international accreditation from the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), UK’s independent body and a global leader in quality assurance for higher education. The global accreditation is awarded to institutions that have passed the QAA’s rigorous International Quality Review (IQR); an independent peer review measuring global institutions against the 10 standards of the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG) criteria.
HCT has also been awarded the prestigious CIQG Quality Award at the 2020 CHEA International Conference, recognizing outstanding performance of HCT in meeting the CIGQ International Quality Principles.
All HCT program offerings are nationally accredited by the CAA. In addition, all HCT eligible programs are internationally accredited by reputable accrediting bodies including ABET - Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) - USA, Information System Technology Accreditation Commission (ISTAC) of Canada’s Association of IT Professionals (CIPS) - Canada, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) - USA , Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA) - Australia and Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) - USA.
The Accreditation & Compliance Department is responsible for assuring the compliance with national and international standards across all its programs and operations through the adoption of a proactive compliance approach and the implementation of best practices for continuous improvement.
