Program Mission
The Bachelor of Human Resource Management program at Higher Colleges of Technology aims to produce skilled professionals adept at navigating the complexities of HR management. Our mission is to equip graduates with the knowledge and competencies needed to excel in managerial and practitioner roles, both locally and globally, while also fostering skills in innovation, ethics, and entrepreneurship. With a focus on independent thinking and teamwork, our program aims to develop critical thinkers capable of solving problems, making recommendations for improvements, and utilizing advanced Human Resource Management tools. By fostering a deep understanding of contemporary HR dynamics and aligning with evolving industry demands, our graduates are poised to play pivotal roles in shaping the future landscape of human resource management in the UAE and beyond.
Program Description
The Bachelor of Human Resource Management program at Higher Colleges of Technology offers a rigorous academic journey designed to equip students with the indispensable knowledge, skills and competence essential for success in HRM roles. Through a curriculum emphasizing practical application, students engage deeply with the nuances of human resource management, underpinned by a diverse range of analytical frameworks. Graduates emerge prepared to excel in managerial and practitioner positions within both public and private sector organizations, prepared to facilitate organizational success and make substantial contributions to societal progress.

Completion Requirements
Bachelor of Human Resource Management
Students must successfully complete a minimum of 120 credits, including:

To qualify for the bachelor's degree, a student is required to:
- Successfully complete the required number of credits and courses specific to the program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
- Complete 100 hours of volunteering.
- Meet the residency requirement that a minimum of 50% of the program credit requirements have been completed at the HCT.
Diploma Exit Options
Students may choose to exit the program with one of the following diplomas, based on the number of credits completed:
- Diploma in Business Management: Awarded upon completion of 60 credit hours (typically after Year 2).
- Higher Diploma of Human Resources Management: Awarded upon completion of 90 credit hours, including 18 credits in General Studies, 6 credits in Apprenticeship, and 21 credits in the specialization (typically after Year 3).
